Please join us at 4pm on Saturday 5th December for a talk by Scenographer, Architect and Lecturer Andreas Skourtis, as he discusses his work, Olive Grove SE1 at Hotel Elephant. Afterwards, there will be an opportunity to ask Andreas questions about the work, followed by informal networking.

Olive Grove SE1 is a scenography-led performance/installation that simultaneously takes place at Hotel Elephant in London SE1, a flat in the same block and Andreas’ olive grove in Greece. A real time on-line projection, names on olive trees, an ‘in-progress’ installation on both ‘stages’, olive oil dispensed: a scenography of linked geographies and physical memories.

Andreas Skourtis is a practicing Scenogrpaher, Architect and Lecturer in Scenography at the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama. In the Prague Quadrennnial 2011 he won a gold medal if “best work in Theatre Architecture and Performance space”. He lives in London SE1.
