Reuben Powell has lived in the Elephant and Castle neighbourhood in Southwark for 30 years. His practice as an artist has a focus on his local environment and the River Thames. Reuben works with a variety of media; from large scale drawings in graphite to his ground-breaking work painting onto tin plate sheets and using new technology to digitally print onto metal.
This exhibition is part of the London Festival of Architecture 2017 and will take place in Hotel Elephant's mixed use public space & cafe.
